Project Meetings
This document is a working document for the project. It provides supporting information for project participants and viewers. It is not part of the project deliverables.
This folder contains the minutes of project meetings. Older meeting minutes are placed in the archive folder.
Frequency and Participation
Project meetings are held every two weeks. There are two times for meetings: one set for 9 a.m in Europe on Thursday morning (Madrid time), and the second set for 5 p.m. on the West coast of America (San Francisco). The meetings are online and are recorded. Summaries of the transcripts are reviewed and edited to generate minutes.
Meetings are open to all who wish to attend, and comment and discussion is welcome from all. Active contributors (those producing content for deliverables) will need to:
- Be a registered UN/CEFACT expert, or
- Have applied to be registered as UN/CEFACT expert (and hence accepted the code of conduct and intellectual property rights (IPR) policy) and sent their email confirmation to the project leads, or
- [with the approval of the project leads] Confirmed their acceptance of the code of conduct and IPR policy and sent their confirmation to the project leads.
A form that can be used to contact the project leads and confirm acceptance of the project ways of working is here: Project Contact and Interest Form
Open Development Process, Code of Conduct and IPR
The project follows the UN/CEFACT Open Development Process 1.
Each meeting starts with a reminder of the project code of conduct 2, IPR policy and the use of the Open Development Process. The list of key principles are:
-
To welcome participation by anyone designated as an expert by a Head of Delegation to UN/CEFACT.
-
To encourage global input.
-
To work collaboratively and effectively.
-
To not incorporate specific hardware and/or proprietary software requirements into their processes or deliverables, or the implementation thereof.
-
To understand and agree to be subject to the UN/CEFACT Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Policy.
-
To understand and agree to be subject to the UN/CEFACT Code of Conduct.
Meeting recordings and presentation packs
Meeting minutes are automatically generated from the meeting transcript and then reviewed and corrected (if necessary) before being uploaded to this site as markdown documents. These are available in the Meetings folder on this site, here.
Recordings are published to a YouTube playlist, here.
Project Calendar
The project calendar has details of past and future meetings. The project calendar is hosted on Google and is publicly available for viewing and subscription. Invites are not sent out as this would require significant additional administration to maintain.
The calendar links are:

Previous events in the project calendar will also have links to the recording, transcript and minutes. The minutes are copied over as markdown documents to this GitLab environment. The meeting records retained here on the UNICC GitLab environment for this project are the definitive minutes.
