Digital Conformity Credentials

The UNTTP Textiles Extension digital conformity credentials are all implemented as profiles of the UNTP Digital Conformity Credential (DCC). An UNTTP DCC profile is no different in structure to a UNTP DCC but has specific constraints regarding the allowed conformity schemes, standards, and regulations. Implementers should familiarise themselves with the UNTP Digital Conformity Credential specification before implementing any of the UNTTP conformity credential profiles.

The table lists each UNTTP conformity credential type and version as well as its UNTP version dependency.

Transaction Certificate

The Transaction Certificate is the first DCC profile defined for the Textiles Extension. Transaction Certificates are widely used in textile certification schemes to attest that a specific quantity of material or product has moved between parties under defined chain-of-custody conditions.

For complete details on the Transaction Certificate specification, including its structure, schema definition, and implementation guidance, see the Transaction Certificate specification page.

Logical Model

As additional conformity credential profiles are developed for the Textiles Extension, logical models will be documented here. Each profile will define:

  • The credential structure and required claims
  • Relationships to UNTP core models (DIA, DFR, DPP, DTE)
  • Conformity scheme and standard constraints
  • Validation rules and requirements

Profile Rules

Profile-specific rules and constraints for Textiles Extension conformity credentials will be documented here as profiles are developed. These rules define:

  • Allowed conformity schemes and standards
  • Required and optional claim fields
  • Validation requirements
  • Extension points for scheme-specific requirements

Technical Artifacts

Technical artifacts for Textiles Extension conformity credential profiles, including JSON schemas and validation tools, will be listed here as they become available.
